Sizing Guide

All the new clothes sold at The Mermaid's Purse follow continental European sizing based on height in centimeters rather than age.

The best way to see if it fits is to measure the child's height and find the right size based on the charts below (Duns & Maxomorra).

Please remember to account for a 5% shrinkage as all our brands are at least 95% pure organic cotton.

If the child is in between sizes, or is big for his/her age, we advise to size up.

Each brand might also have a slightly different fit, so if in doubt, please contact us at info@themermaidspurse.ie, we are always happy to help!

Washing Guidelines

As all the new clothes sold at The Mermaid's Purse are made of at least 95% organic cotton, please carefully read and follow the instructions on the labels.

For a long and healthy life of your new garments we recommend to always wash them inside out at max 30º with gentle detergent and with similar colors, no tumble dryer and preferably line drying.

All the dyes used in the garments are non-toxic, therefore a little discoloration after a few washes

can happen.
